With Obama winning the Presidential election, and America facing the fact that Blacks are no longer 1/3 (or whatever) of a human being, I think we now MUST FACE, and DEAL WITH head on, the OTHER predjudice in this land… THE U.S. vs THE HOMO’S…
It’s a STUPID ASS fight if you ask me… because LITERALLY… what ONE MAN eats…. DON’T MAKE another one shit! If a man and a man or a woman and a woman feel like it’s the SAME SEX that they’re in love with… WHY are they not allowed to be together legally!?!?

This is the return receipt of Keith Slater. He bought a pair of loafer-style shoes and then (as this happens A LOT messing with Journeys) found a pair of shoes at another store for less. So he took the shoes back, and the cashier used (from a list of many ways to describe the customer/cust in the store when they make a transaction) “DUMB N—-R” to describe this young man… I WANT TO KNOW WHY that option is THERE in the FIRST PLACE?!?! And was the cashier expecting this man to NOT READ the damn receipt?!!?!?!?!

A black couple from Missouri seek amends from clothing store Journeys after their son was given a receipt that said “dumb N-word” in capital letters.
Linda Slater said she’s both saddened and angry that it happened and “to know that racism is still alive.”
On Friday, her son Keith Slater, 22, bought a pair of loafer-style shoes from the Journeys at the Oak Park Mall in Overland Park, Kan., about a 30-minute drive from their home in Kansas City, Mo.
When he found a less expensive pair of similar shoes at a different store a short while later, however, he returned the first pair to Journeys the next day.
The clerk, whom Linda Slater described as a 20-something white woman, asked why he was returning the shoes and Keith Slater told her about the less expensive shoes he had bought.
It wasn’t until the family got home that he glanced at his receipt and saw the insult printed next to the line marked “Cust” for customer.
As for Keith Slater’s mom, she’d like to see compensation from the company. Linda Slater said they have gotten apologies from both the store’s company and the mall managers. She also said that she knew of no other similar incidents but that she believes that most people never look at their receipts.
The family, she said, is a Christian one and doesn’t believe in making a huge scene or going to court.
“You have to be better than that person who said that,” she said today.
But she’d still like to see the company do something for her son.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I feel like… whether or not Jennifer Hudson is a star, her LOSS is one that cannot go ignored. I have tried to NOT BLOG about [Jennifer Hudson's loss] out of respect for her family and the tragic news that’s been circulating about them. I really feel like if not ANYTHING, as a blogger I should at least speak my piece on the situation. Honestly, since I heard of the ordeal I literally said “I will NOT post this blog. I DO NOT want ‘blog traffic’ from another’s loss in this capacity.” I decided to speak up, because if not ANYTHING, I can offer my sincere condolences… So, what I will say below, will be my first and last time speaking on the situation, mainly because—- well, you’ll see why……
We see these horrible stories in the news all the time and never believe that it could hit home. I know that some of you feel like it’s something that’s being blown up because Ms. Hudson is a celebrity, and for the most part, you’re absolutely correct; but let us take the time now, to really DEAL WITH, face ON– the fact that this woman is in the spotlight; having to go through a tremendous loss with millions of watching eyes. Please take some time to pray for her and her family’s strength in this time because they TRULY could use it; and while you’re searching the net for the so-called “scoop” on her situation, let’s remember that THIS could be any one of us going through, with everyone in the world watching. Ms. Hudson and her family DESERVE some time amongst themselves and with whomever they worship to grieve and deal with the painful process of losing a loved one. Be aware of that before you go looking for info and spreading false-hoods.

The former basketball star, and current “business man mogul” has CLAPPED BACK at 2 radio show hosts in Minneapolis after they freely stated with all the conviction in the world that Magic Johnson “Faked AIDS for SYMPATHY”
Johnson called the remarks that came after a caller asserted that health care isn’t a basic right, “Stupid.”

WELP! Tawny dug DEEP and found out that Magic HAS put the two IN CHECK and get THIS: TOLD the muthafuckaz at the station, “Na… I want them to KEEP their jobs; I’d rather they educate their listeners with the CORRECT information on the disease” IN OTHER WORDS: “eat CROW for talkin shit… NOW you have to deal with listeners telling you JUST how wrong you were!”

KTLK’s statement said it recognized the seriousness of AIDS and the “great work” Johnson has done to call attention to the disease.
KTLK further stated- “We regret that some off hand remarks on commentators on KTLK did not reflect that to better inform our listeners and employees, KTLK will b airing HIV/AIDS awareness public service announcements and will be airing HIV/AIDS awareness public services announcements and will be reaching out to Mr. Johnson to get his thoughts on education efforts.”
Program director Steve Versnick said the station wouldn’t comment beyond that statement.
